Fangs Brow

Fangs Brow to Loweswater
If wonderful views over Loweswater towards Crummock Water and Grasmoor, woodland paths and a wonderful 16th century pub at the end are your thing, then this is the trek for you!
Taking this linear walk from Fangs Brow, there is limited unofficial roadside parking here.  Once disembarked, simply head through the gate and follow the well-defined bridleway across the fields towards Loweswater.  The path descends down through Holme Wood on the banks of Loweswater before coming out onto the country lanes, which you follow through to the Kirkstile Inn, with its wonderful surroundings and a cracking close-up of Mellbreak.
There’s a good-sized car park at the pub, but in season the place gets very busy as it has a reputation for both good beer and tasty food.
