Making the Inaccessible Accessible

accessthedales is committed to creating a countryside  for all.

Through the development of wheel friendly treks for people with little or no mobility in and around the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District, accessthedales is championing accessibility for all

accessthedales works alongside The Outdoor Guide With Julia Bradbury and puts together complete wheelchair-friendly packages for wonderful days out in the fabulous hills and mountains of the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbria, including the perfect pit stops, the perfect accommodation and the perfect cuppa.  This means you’ll often come across Debs and Andy on a hillside in Yorkshire or a mountain in Cumbria researching new routes for people with disabilities.  If they’re not researching in the hills then chances are they’ll be researching in a cafe.
